Our little princess-wanna-be's finished off their photo shoot at the beach. It had been a long day for these precious little girls, but they were excited to be at the beach with the waves and wind. Well . . . most of them were excited to be there; however, one little princess wasn't thrilled at all. Can you guess which one?

You see it was Shark Week. There was no way we were getting this little princess in that water after she had watched episode after episode of sharks in the ocean. Believe me, we tried everything - she was not going to do it! I love these pics, though. They totally capture the moment.

We splurged on with the shoot because mommy had been on bed rest and meds for quite some time and the doctors were letting her up the next day. Today was my one year old birthday. It was the best day ever!

My mommy and daddy threw me the best party ever! It was so fun.

I got to share my special day with so many of my family and friends. And my mommy arranged so that they could have their pictures taken too! We all smiled big (most of the time).

Another great thing about today was that I got my own cake to eat. I made a big mess for my mom and dad. But it sure was good!

What a beautiful and meaningful memorial! This special family has been coming to Corpus Christi Padre Island for years. It started with the mom and dad, then they brought their children, then their children brought their children. Three generations and many awesome memories at this site. This year they said good-bye to their husband, father, and granddad. Their special trip had a different meaning this year. This beautiful family wrote notes to their loved one, tied them on balloons, walked down the beach and then released them. What an incredible tribute to their loved one. I fell in love with the camera years ago. I was just an eight year old child running around with a Kodak camera and an instamatic flash bulb. In high school, I graduated to a 35mm and became the school photographer. It was much different then: we used film, worked in a dark room, and smelled like chemicals! Guess I’m dating myself here.

Out of my passion to capture real-life moments that will last a lifetime Alene Snodgrass Photography was born. My photojournalistic photographs are creative, natural and capture those special occasions so that your memory lingers for a lifetime.

In a TTD shoot, we can do anything as outrageous or subdued as you'd like. The portraits are one of a kind, funky, weird, different, amazing, and beautiful. Creativity is the key! Each session is shot with a make-up artist for an extra dramatic look to complete the portrait.
